Akashi x Reader: Extra Chapter - Texting
Note: This is an extra chapter that happened a couple weeks prior to the part I'm working on right now. XD I was too lazy and didn't know what to write for the original story so whatever. I hope you like it!
I looked at my kind of new phone. The case around it felt smooth in my hands. Looking at my contacts, I saw three names:
Mom.
Hana.
Akashi-kun.
Mom was at work and Hana was on vacation at Hawaii for two weeks this summer and she said that her phone plan wouldn’t be paid when she was there.
Akashi-kun. I just managed to get his number yesterday...five days after I got the phone. So far, I haven’t texted anyone yet.

When the conversation dropped, I began to feel uneasy.
“U-Um…what do you mean by—”
“Ayano! I’m sorry, I forgot to tell you but…I’m going to be staying at your place for two weeks! Please take care of me well~”
“…eh?” I looked at Kawa-chi, startled. “Wait, what?!” I stood up.
“I didn’t think your mom told you yet, but I am,” Kawa-chi said, smiling.
“Wait, but, I thought that you were staying somewhere else…” I

“Hey, Ayano, are you listening?”
Snapping out of it, I looked back at Akashi-kun. “Wait, sorry, what?”
He turned around and leaned against the railing of the cross-bridge. “I was wondering if you wanted to do something tomorrow,” he said, his face getting a little red.
“Ah…that’s it? Yeah, okay,” I replied, smiling.
“Where do you want to go?”
“Mmm…how about—”
I remembered. Grr, how could I forget?!
“Oh, actually, sorry…I can’t.”
“What? Why not?”
I pulled my bangs back and tucked them behind

Staring at my hands, I couldn’t stop thinking about him. It wasn’t that unusual though. I always thought about him. When I was eating, in bed, doing homework…but now…
It’s all for the better! I don’t have to worry about Akashi-kun anymore! Now, I can fully concentrate on my future, my studies, get a good job and lead a manageable life. No distractions!
I rolled up my sleeves, picked up my pencil and stared down at the sketches I had for bookmarks we were going to give out as an opening gift.
…I’ll just apologize to him later.
Tsugumi-san rapidly scanned all my sketches and sighed. &ld

“Ay-a-no,” he said and smiled. “You don’t want to make me irritated…especially in a situation like this.”
I looked up at him, to see if he was serious or not. To think he could take advantage of that.
Akashi-kun, in what seemed like a split second, managed to press his lips up against mine the second I looked up. It took a while to realize it but…he just kissed me. He is kissing me.
When he took a pause to look at my reaction, I just stared at him, blushing so hard that I thought I was going to faint. I also stopped breathing. I took in a quick gasp of air though, before Akashi-kun kissed me

“What?!” Tsugumi-san slammed her hand down on the table. “What do you mean, you guys didn’t make anything?”
We both sulked in our chairs. “Sorry…”
She sighed and took a bunch of hair to twirl. “Geez…I knew braids-girl was completely clueless…”
“Um,” I looked up at her, “could you call me Ayano?”
Tsugumi-san looked at me and then smiled. “Only if you make the yukatas we need.”
“Eh?”
Tsugumi-san dug into her bag and took out a pile of paper, setting them out one by one on the library table. “These are the sk

I looked at him, my eyes getting wider, not believing what he just said. “Kiss…?” I questioned, blushing just at the fact that the word left my mouth.
Akashi-kun opened his eyes again and for the third time today, he slowly leaned in to me. Or at least, in this set-up, dove in to me.
When he was inches away, I closed my eyes, leaving myself completely vulnerable to him. For some reason, I didn’t care about what he was going to do at this moment…
A chill flew up my back when I felt his lips touched mine, just barely.
“I’M HOOOOOOOME!” I heard someone say as they dropped their bag near

“Sowwy…” he said, while bowing.
“Geez…” I sighed and held my head in my hands. “Let’s just get started, hopeless Hentai-san.”
“What do we need?”
“Powdered sugar,” I replied, getting a bag from the pantry room. “And a lot of it…ugh, so many calories.”
“Lemons?” He smirked at me.
I rolled my eyes at him. “Where are the scissors?” I said to myself, looking through the drawers.
“Here,” Akashi-kun said as he held out a pair of scissors.
That was rather suspicious. “…why do you randomly have

“Ayano,” he said.
I wasn’t surprised at first because I was waiting for him to finish his sentence. “Ayano sucks” or something like that…but when Akashi-kun looked at me with dead serious eyes, I opened mine wide.
“Haa?” Tsugumi-san let out a voice. “What do you mean ‘Ayano’”? I could see hatred filter in through her eyes.
Akashi-kun sat back in his chair and closed his eyes. “Ayano and I should prepare anything having to do with food since we live fairly close to each other. Once we’re done with that, we’ll help you two with your plans for the other

People were chatting, talking, and discussing about the school festival coming up soon. To be honest, I wasn’t really looking forward to it. Our class was going to do some sort of stupid theme where the girls would have to cosplay in order to make the guys happy.
“Hey, Ayano-san, what do you want to do for the theme?” some girls in the hallway asked me.
I smiled and looked at them, adjusting my messenger bag. “Anything that everyone else wants to do.”
Lies.
Scooting the chair out from my desk, I set my stuff down and looked out the window. It was a really bright day today.
The teacher walked in, as clumsily a
